Cookies in the shape of letter S

  • 1 egg;
  • 2 yolks ;
  • 125g sugar;
  • 1 vanilla;
  • a teaspoon of grated orange peel;
  • one tablespoon of orange liqueur or juice;
  • 150g of butter;
  • 250g of flour;
  • 1 / 2 packet of baking powder;
  • a little bit of salt;
  1. Mix the egg and both yolks in a bowl with sugar for 5-7 min. Cut the vanilla in two pieces, put one half into another bowl and mix together with the grated orange peel and the juice of orange. After that mix the content of both bowls in one till you get a smooth paste.
  2. Take the butter and but little pieces in the bowl, one by one while mixing. Mix flour with   baking powder and add it in the dough you’ve got, after that add salt and mix very well till you get a consistent dough.
  3. You may have a kind of tube to make the letter S or you can make it by yourself using a usual plastic bag. After covering the tray with baking paper, make the “S”es or you can do whatever you like as I did, something interesting and beautiful for holidays.
  4. Preheat the oven at 160 degrees and bake the cookies for 12 min.
Good luck ! ;) and a Happy New Year !!!

   How much would that word mean, I do not think that it has a specific explanation. Funny thing… when we get everything we need we are not thinking about that we are lucky persons, but when we fail, we begin crying on our misfortune. How many people are waking-up in the morning and think that they’re the luckiest human beings in the world? I guess not everyone is grateful for the best things that ever happened in their life. Luck isn’t about having a big sum of money or wining the lottery, it’s actually about our self-esteem, feelings and everyday actions. Someone might say I’m wrong… yes, probably, but what can other people say about that? Isn’t luck the way we feel and act? If we’re not in a harmony with ourselves, how can we leave all the misfortune behind.
  Soo… I hope you’ll think about how lucky are those people which are surrounded by their loved ones, and those who have eyes to see, a mouth to speak, hands to create, legs to run and a heart to love.
Any fool can have bad luck; the art consists in knowing how to exploit it.
